OKOBOJI is Peter Davidson's twenty-third published book.

Cont.
Alex Gideon is America's Heartthrob. His eight movies have been box office smashes, he is rich and handsome, and he has millions of adoring fans. But all is not well. He needs to get away from the pressures of stardom, the demands of his sleazy manager, the Hollywood starlets, and his smothering fans. But where can he go? He disguises himself and sneaks off, unannounced, to the most remote, quiet, peaceful, out-of-the-way place he can find -- Okoboji, in Iowa.

Cont.
It's Olivia's birthday, and at last she'll get something she's always wanted - a new puppy. Olivia expects to go to a pet store to get her puppy, but her Aunt Clarissa takes her instead to the pet Rescue Shelter in their town. After learning about the shelters and meeting the many wonderful dogs in need of homes, Olivia must make a decision about her new pet.

OLIVIA'S BIRTHDAY PUPPY is Jean Tennant's first venture into the world of children's picture books. You can buy it at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and other online booksellers.

"When I signed up for Jean Tennant's Writer's Workshop I didn't dream she would have such an impact on my life. Each participant of the workshop received personal attention, and she gave us important information that we would otherwise have spent precious time learning by trial and error."

Jean's first novel was a YA romance, published by Silhouette in 1986. It was followed by six more in quick succession, most of them thrillers - but each with an element of romance. After a long hiatus, during which she worked as a news correspondent for the Sioux City Journal, she has returned to full-length fiction and as owner of her own small publishing company.
